In the latest update, you can find different fishing nets and lobster cages. Some of them are easy to buy, but Bubba’s Net is special—you’ll need to complete a fun task to get it. This net will help you catch fish more effectively, so it’s worth the effort!
Step 1: Find Bubba
First things first, you need to locate Bubba, the NPC (that’s non-playable character) who can give you the net. Here’s how:
- Go to Netter’s Haven Island – This island is located east of Waveborne in Sea 2.
- Once you’re on the island, walk straight from the green cabin where the Utility Boat NPC is. Bubba is waiting in front of a small hut.
- If you’re wondering, Bubba’s coordinates (his exact location) are X = -818, Y = 90, Z = 995.
Step 2: Feed Bubba
When you find Bubba, he’ll tell you that he’s hungry and needs a school of fish. Here’s how to catch them:
- Make sure you have a Utility Boat and one of the fishing nets.
- Head to a spot in Sea 2 where you can find fish schools, like right in front of Netter’s Haven.
- Get your boat ready and go to the red square that shows where the school of fish is hiding.
- Switch to your fishing net by pressing the ‘E’ key, then get into the driver’s seat and press ‘X’ to throw your net.
Mini-Game Time!
You’ll enter a mini-game where you need to target a moving cursor. Once you complete the mini-game a few times, you’ll catch a school of fish! 🎣
Step 3: Return to Bubba
Now that you’ve caught some fish, head back to Bubba. Here’s what to do next:
- Hold the net with the fish you caught.
- Interact with Bubba and feed him your catch.
- In return, you’ll receive the shiny Bubba’s Net! The cool part is you can feed him any school of fish and keep earning this awesome net.
