How Does It Work?
The Traveling Merchant is like a surprise pop-up shop in the game. Here’s how it works:
- This merchant appears every so often at certain places on the map.
- When they move to a new location, you’ll hear a bell and see a message on your screen pointing you in the right direction.

You’ll see red text appear on your screen that says “Traveling Merchant”—this is your signal to track them down. The merchant has special charms and shovels you can buy using the in-game money.
